Security Tips

  • Use a strong, unique PIN code not used elsewhere.

  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for maximum account security.

  • Never share your PIN code or 2FA backup codes.

  • Change your PIN code periodically.

  • Be cautious of phishing attempts asking for your credentials.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication on Oracler

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is required to withdraw assets from your smart account to an external wallet. This helps ensure only you can authorize withdrawals, reducing the risk of unauthorized access from hacks or social engineering attempts.

1

Enable 2FA

Go to or navigate to your profile page by clicking the profile dropdown menu in the top right corner.

Then head to the Security tab and toggle the 2FA enabled.

2

Set up 2FA

To set up 2FA with Google Authenticator, download and open the Google Authenticator app on your phone, then scan the QR code displayed on the screen.

A 6-digit code will appear in the app, which you need to enter to verify and enable.

If you are unable to scan the QR code, manually enter the secret key shown below the QR code

Set up PIN Code

Setting up a PIN code adds an extra layer of security to your account, helping safeguard your assets against unauthorized access.

  • When accessing the Trading page, you’ll be prompted to enter your PIN code before performing any actions.

  • Once entered correctly, your PIN session remains active for 4 hours. After that, you’ll be asked to re-enter your PIN to continue.

  • If you enter your PIN code incorrectly 5 times, you’ll be automatically logged out for security reasons.

  • When attempting to change or disable your PIN-code, if you enter it incorrectly 3 times, the app will block you from making changes for 5 minutes.
